Randy Bragg

Randy Bragg is the protagonist of Pat Frank's book, "Alas, Babylon" He is a war veteran, failed politician, and lawyer in his 30's. before the war, he was a carefree, likable man who lived off his family's old house and occasional legal work.  after the nuclear war breaks out, he eventually assumes the position of leader over the town of Ft. Repose, FL. he also becomes the caretaker of his late brother's wife and children.
